Effective Date: July 2, 2025
Thank you for using BreakthroughPath ("the App"), developed by Pabst Results LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
BreakthroughPath is designed to help you manage tasks, goals, and personal development. The information the App handles includes:
Data You Provide:
Tasks, including titles, descriptions, status, type, importance, urgency, due dates, and "not until" dates.
Relationships between tasks (parent-child relationships).
Notes or reflections you enter within tasks or related features.
Locally Stored Data:
By default, all the data you enter into BreakthroughPath, such as your tasks, goals, and their attributes, is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this information unless you explicitly choose to share it via standard device sharing functionalities (e.g., exporting data, if such a feature exists).
Analytics or crash reporting
Usage Data (Analytics): We may use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase, Mixpanel) to collect anonymized information about how you use the App. This may include features accessed, time spent in the app, and general interaction patterns. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. It helps us understand user behavior and improve the App.
Crash Reporting: If the App crashes, we may collect anonymous crash reports that include device type, OS version, and the state of the App at the time of the crash. This information helps us diagnose and fix bugs.
Cloud sync / backup
Cloud Synchronization Data: If you choose to enable cloud synchronization or backup features with a third-party service (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive, Firebase), your App data (tasks, goals, etc.) will be stored and managed according to the privacy policy of that service or our own backend service policy. We will clearly indicate when you are using such a feature.
2. How We Use Your Information
The primary purpose of handling your information is:
To Provide App Functionality: Your task and goal data is used solely to enable the features of BreakthroughPath on your device.
To Improve the App: Anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are most popular, identify areas for improvement, and enhance user experience.
To Fix Bugs: Crash reports help us maintain the stability and reliability of the App.
To Enable Synchronization: To allow you to access your data across multiple devices or to back it up.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: As stated, your primary task and goal data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the security of your device.
Third-Party Services: Data collected by third-party services is stored on their servers and is subject to their security practices. We choose reputable services with strong security measures.
Cloud Storage: If you use a cloud sync feature, the security of your data in the cloud depends on the security measures implemented by the cloud provider or by us (if it's our own backend). We take reasonable measures to protect data transmitted to and from our services.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share your locally stored App data with third parties unless:
You Explicitly Consent or Direct Us: For example, if you use a feature to share data or sync with a cloud service.
With Service Providers: [If using analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync] We may share information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as analytics, crash reporting, or cloud hosting. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide these services to us and are obligated to protect your information.

For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent fraud, act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the App, or protect against legal liability.
5. Your Data Rights
Since most of your data is stored locally on your device:
Access and Correction: You can access and modify your data directly within the App.
Deletion: You can delete your data directly within the App. Deleting the App from your device will also delete its locally stored data.
If using cloud sync
You may have additional rights such as the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Please contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
6. Children's Privacy
BreakthroughPath is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or a higher age threshold if required by applicable law in your region). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under this age. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website [if you have one]. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted.
