If you feel like you're falling short in your marriage, you’re not alone.
You’re walking on eggshells, constantly trying not to get in trouble—only to end up back in the same arguments.
You’re apologizing and fawning, doing everything she asks, but noticing it still isn’t working.
You feel underappreciated, misunderstood, and drained from carrying constant tension.
Here is the truth: Putting effort into avoiding conflict comes from the fear center of your brain. When you don't feel safe, it’s impossible to show up as your genuine self or build deep connection. Neither being selfish nor completely unselfish works.
You need a 3rd option—a path that reduces fear, builds true self-regard, and equips you with tools to lead your emotional environment in a way your wife will naturally want to follow.
This retreat provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can step away from daily stressors, recharge, and gain practical tools.
Rather than quick fixes, you will be equipped with actionable processes to help you make real progress:
Become Less Triggered: Learn how to stay calmer and more curious when your partner is upset, shifting away from freezing, arguing, or checking out.
Improve Untriggered Listening: Learn to translate negative comments into pure underlying desires so you can offer her genuine compassion and safety.
Own Your Realm of Power: Significantly reduce relationship fear, build genuine self-regard, and show up with authentic confidence.
Recharge & Connect: Experience a balance of deep transformational workshops, meaningful breaks, and genuine fellowship with other men working on the same goals.
"This is a retreat wives love to send their husbands to—and a space where husbands love to go to recharge, recenter, and shift into a healthy mentality."
We balance deep inner work with practical tools to help you experience meaningful emotional breakthroughs:
Phase 1: Foundation & Safety
Work through personal insecurities, establish healthy emotional boundaries, and address urgent physiological and spiritual needs to step out of fight-or-flight mode.
Phase 2: Connection & Compassion
Address frustrations around affection, sex, and expectations. Practice translating difficult statements so you can better understand your partner without feeling attacked.
Phase 3: Integration & Future Progress
Own your realm of power, address questionable beliefs, and leave with a clear, actionable path forward for your home.
We know men need time to process without feeling overwhelmed. The weekend is structured to give you ample breathing room:
Thursday, Sept 24 (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM): Welcome, anonymous struggle review, core principles, and setting a safe, confidential environment.
Friday, Sept 25 (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM): Deep dive into Phase 1 & 2 tools, physiological/emotional capacity work, and interactive sessions, with 2-hour extended breaks for lunch and dinner.
Saturday, Sept 26 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM): Phase 3 integration, live skill-building, closing wrap-up, and next steps.
(Note: Everything is optional, but you get out what you put in.)

What are people saying about what I teach?
"Eric is an excellent life coach!...Since I began,...I have stopped my negative self-talk because my false beliefs have changed so my brain doesn’t even think those judging thoughts about myself anymore! I’m also less judgmental of others. I’m finding greater joy as I’m able to live from my desires. I am becoming more in tune with myself so I can choose what I desire to do and the perfect time to do it. I’ve also been able to eliminate some fears I have had and feel greater safety in Christ. I highly recommend Eric as a life coach!"
- D. Fredrickson
"I am delighted to have recently become acquainted with Eric and his 'magic tools.'
"For the past 30 years, I have been a student of many experts and mentors in the field of self-development. They all offered a plethora of useful information that has really enchanted my life, but Eric’s 'TOOLS' are by far the most helpful method I have ever found that has REALLY TAUGHT ME HOW to explore my own negative, self-limiting thoughts."
- J. Mathie
